The affect of heatwave in south eastern Australia on our native animals

I live in Australia and did not know that Kangaroos liked to swim!

It is rare that our native animals like to swim, but the heatwave that has hit south eastern New South Wales has lead the animals to water to cool off a little. The temperatures have been very high for a week or 2 in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide with daily temperatures in the high 30's and several days well over 40 degrees C in some areas.

dragongly,
Thank you very much for your comments. I checked out your night view - beautiful with the lights over the bridge and the moon. Nice photography.
