Albury Station

The rich Italian architecture of Albury Station remains as spectacular as when it opened in 1881. It has been falsely touted as having the longest platform in Australia, but that honour belongs to West Perth. Flinders Street platform #1 in Melbourne is second, and Albury third.

Lovely night photos! In Portugal almost all old railway stations are destroyed, it's a shame. Many railway lines are closed and we don't respect our great history of XIX century.

Thanks Jose, that is really sad that your railway stations are destroyed. Why is this?
