Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia
Small view of the natural tropical rainforest in Port Macquarie, as mentioned in my Port Macquarie Beach photo previously posted. The palms grow tall very quickly in search of the sun.

The affect of heatwave in south eastern Australia on our native animals

It is rare that our native animals like to swim, but the heatwave that has hit south eastern New South Wales has lead the animals to water to cool off a little. The temperatures have been very high for a week or 2 in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide with daily temperatures in the high 30's and several days well over 40 degrees C in some areas.
